Review of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974) by Alun M — 14 Aug 2009
I've never seen a suspense film quite like this one. The premise is good enough, but it's the typically New York, stoic sense of humour that the characters have that give the movie its edge.
Additionally, the ending is one of the most astoundingly sharp and genuinely brilliant I've ever witnessed. You really do need to see this.
