My goodness. This film is quite shocking. Not for the prudish or...moral. Moore's performance, as usual, is stunning and shattering. The story, however, is intense, disturbing, uncomfortable, and extremely engaging.
The performances and the visual design are the strongest points. The film is wonderfully made. It's fascinating. But be prepared...this is a true story of extreme decadence, violence, and all sorts of inappropriate behavior.
Hold on to your hat.
