Review of Hatari! (1962) by Ashley H — 04 Feb 2007
This movie is fast paced but seems leisurely. It is filled with exciting animal chase sequences but is really a romance. It is my first Red Buttons movie as well as my favorite John Wayne. One of the things that I really like about this movie is that supporting cast carry so many scenes without John Wayne overwhelming them.
All of the characters get developed as if they actually have life off-screen. This is an entertaining comedy/drama that never seems to lose its appeal to me.
