Review of Coogan's Bluff (1968) by Dustin G — 30 Nov 2009
Utterly forgettable late 60's cop flick from Eastwood and Siegel. There's really not much to say about this one. The stories weak, the 'love' aspect of it especially bad, the acting is B-Movie worthy, as is the writing, there's a weird, awful rave scene thrown in the middle, the endings a joke and most of the movie makes no sense.
The one good thing I will say for this is that Siegel and Eastwood managed to make a cop movie together didn't look like another Dirty Harry film.
But that doesn't make a bad film good and this one was just bad, bad, bad.
