Awesome movie! A lil' old school for today's time (cliches, clothes, etc.), but it helped pave the way for women breaking into the industry (MOVIE / MAN's WORLD- that is). Most men don't like this movie, for it portrays a strong-willed woman that will not put a man first.
Long story short - you have a dream - then follow your dreams and do not be dependent on a ... Oh I'm sure the writer had a strong powerful story initially - BUT got kaiboshed by a male producer knowing that a story like that would not profit in those times.
:) Half-naked women with a twist is what sold. Times are changing - yes, indeed. LOL. And yeah, I was a wee bit bored! SUE me! :).
