Review of Dixie Chicks: Shut Up and Sing (2006) by Brandon F — 10 Oct 2007
Fantastic! It's pleasing to see a documentary that speaks for itself, completely. As a film, this documentary is quite smart and does a good job of capturing the essence of change. Also, although being about the Dixie Chicks, this is really a movie about masogyny in america.
This film has something that a lot of films, I find, are lacking: a clear, bonifide perspective.
