Review of Chrysalis (2007) by Robert H — 25 Apr 2009
This futuristic crime drama takes a long time to set up. It's visually stark and monochromatic. The pacing is slow. Too slow perhaps. Basic story plot is decent enough but the delivery just isn't enjoyable.
If you're going to make a slow paced SF film, it better look amazing/interesting. Chrysalis is good looking but it's not something that's going to be talked about at length down the road.
