Review of Chrysalis (2007) by Ehome T — 27 Apr 2009
Ah, hello mediocre sci-fi action thriller flick: we meet again. Everything's pretty much generic: generic hero, generic situation, generic evil doctor, generic psycho killer henchman.
Production is okay, no complaints there. The actors (being French) are unfamiliar so you don't get to think of them in terms of their previous works; unfortunately, this movie marked them with mediocrity, so much so that I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw the lead character here appear in L' Ennemi intime. Hopefully that movie would be a bit better.
I can't say it's 94 minutes of your life wasted (misery does love company) but if nothing else is available, I suppose this movie is good distraction at best.
