Review of Brighton Rock (1948) by Rachael H — 05 Oct 2010
A British gangster film set in Brighton. The ending of this film is epic. I was waiting for the consequences of Pinky recording that message for his wife. How fortunate for her that the record got stuck! Those two scenes were so intense.
This version of the Brighton Palace pier looks a lot more fun then the current one, the ghost train looked fun. Good performances from the actors in this film and a solid plot which is paced well throughout the film, leading to it's climax...
