Anomalisa is the most human film from 2015. It may be stop-motion animated, but you feel like the two leads are real people. Charlie Kaufman has the skill to be funny, yet serious; both real and surreal.
It will likely polarize mainstream audiences, but if you compare the film to your own life, you will understand the power of this masterpiece.
