Review of Alien vs. Ninja (2010) by Robert H — 10 Nov 2010

This film isn't exactly plot heavy. Essentially aliens show up, ninjas fight them. That's the story. So it was nice to see that the action sequences were pretty good and there is plenty of fun as well. I was surprised at how funny the film was.

Not as crazy gore filled as other Sushi Typhoon films, AvN still manages to have a good amount of the red stuff.

While many of the splatter gore films from Sushi Typhoon eventually make me sleepy with their repetitive nature, AvN kept me interested the entire time.

If you're looking for a film where ninjas battle aliens, this is the film for you. If you're looking for ninjas versus pirates, you're looking in the wrong place.
