Review of Zardoz (1974) by Sara C — 18 Feb 2009

Sean Connery needed a vehicle to get out of the James Bond stereotype, and he found it with Zardoz: cause seriously, if anything can make you forget his suave and sophisticated Bond, it has to be spending about 2 hours watching him wearing a red diaper, red knee high boots, and sporting a butt-length braided ponytail.

The movie features random orgies, random trances, random nudity, random (and gratuitous) violence, and random plot twists that occasionally are never revisited. Just thinking about this movie gives me a flashback, but in a good way!
