Review of The World (2004) by Elena . — 13 Nov 2007
Fantastic film that reminds one of the Sisyphusian myth. the lead actress is caught up with a desire to live a different life, but cannot escape her own. This tension pervades all the characters in the film and for the lead is brilliantly played out, by having her be part of "the world" theme park, where she plays people from different cultures. A key film from a very interesting film-maker.
And plays roles from people.
