Review of The Odd Couple (1968) by Eric A — 29 Oct 2007
One of the best comic pairings in history - Mattahau and Lemmon's chemistry is arguably unsurpassed, and laid the foundation for almost every comedy duo since. Neil Simon's brilliantly written stage play transfers effortlessly to the screen thanks to the unflashy direction and the superb acting of the odd couple themself.
And as well as dozens of brilliant one-liners, the theme music is classic as well!
