Review of The Man from Laramie (1955) by Richard P — 02 Jan 2010
Another movie I've heard a lot about, but had not had the opportunity to watch from beginning to end. It has everything anyone would expect from a typical western of the day. The New Mexico country side is beautifully filmed and wondrous to watch on the screen.
The characters and playing out of the ending scenes did not pan out as I originally had expected it would early on in the movie. If your a western or Jimmy Stewart fan, this is a no brainier to add to your collection.
..it is credited for being the turning point film for Jimmy Stewart and more stronger and intense roles. If your not a western genre fan, don't expect this one to convert you.
