Basil Rathbone WAS Sherlock Holmes to me as a child. I loved watching these B&W Sherlock Holmes' films as a kid. Re-watching this film as an adult took me back to my childhood. I found it enjoyable but not quite as thrilling as I remembered it to be.
Still, I would re-watch again if it came on.
