Review of The Boogey Man (1980) by Gus S — 06 Aug 2008
Genuinely eerie film was obviously inspired by Halloween but is in no way another super-violent clone of it. There are plenty of gruesome deaths throughout, but none are senseless or done for pure shock value.
The whole atmosphere of the film is almost like something out of a Dario Argento horror movie.
