Oh Lee Marvin, you are so badass, no matter what you do and what film you are in. And who knew that Mark Hamill could be anything besides Luke Skywalker? Maybe not one of the most well known WWII films, but definitely worth a watch in terms of its atni-war stance.
And apparently having to stand upright in a hole while tanks rolled over your head was something that Fuller did when he was a soldier during the war. Go figure.
