Review of Starship Troopers (1997) by Gopi K — 20 Apr 2011

Amazing special effects and amazingly terrible acting combine to make one of the most entertaining movies I have ever seen. Plot holes abound and characters deliver both wonderfully over-the-top reactions and delightfully underwhelming ones.

If you don't get a smile when Ironsides screams "Come on you apes, you want to live forever?!" or grin when you discover that "the only good bug is a dead bug" then clearly, you don't know quality entertainment when you see it.
