Review of Nocturnal Animals (2016) by Elizabeth H — 18 Dec 2016
Liked the pre movie. Liked the movie. Liked the movie within the movie. Thought it was mostly gripping and that it flowed extremely well. Loved the ending! Thought the acting was fabulous. I will from here forward be sure to see everything Tom Ford directs.
I'm not sure everyone could relate to the theme but I could. Lots of lessons here. Movie: Our choices have consequences for ourselves and those our lives touch. You can't shit on the people who love you most and expect them to want to be in your life.
What goes around comes around. Living a self-absorbed life often means you'll end up wanting, lonely and alone. Inner Movie: You're better off dying while fighting to save what you love than enduring a slow and tortured death filled with regret.
When faced with the murderer who killed all you loved most, pull the damn trigger. Don't do unarmed overnight road trips through west Texas.
