Review of Nocturnal Animals (2016) by Keanex — 17 Feb 2021
Nocturnal Animals is a **** thrill that gave me anger, anxiety, and fear throughout. This is in-part due to the phenomenal acting, and in-part to the excellent storytelling. The movie is essentially split into 3 timelines, present, past, and book.
The book timeline is primarily where the overarching story is presented, but it's done so in such a cold and chilling way. I don't even know where to begin exactly, this movie blew my mind in so many ways.
The long-story short of it is that this is perhaps the best revenge movie that I have ever seen, one that is **** COLD.
