Finally, a grounded, authentic ghost story. You will NOT forget this film if you see it. What makes this movie so affective is the attention to detail the filmmakers put into making everything believable.
They avoid over-the-top thrills and cliche characters with hokey dialogue and keep things so real...this movie leaves you rattled and shaken. I'm always searching for great horror and Lake Mungo is at the top of my list.
