AFTER DARK HORRORFEST IV REVIEW - LAKE MUNGO.
To maintain the integrity of this paranormal drama, I won't be divuldging any info as to whether the events in this film are in fact either true or a fabricated mocumentary shot to look like it is based on an actual case study. I went into this with an open mind not knowing if what I was watching was actual case footage of a family in Ararat terrorized by the spirit of their recently deceased daughter. It is because I didn't know anything about Lake Mungo prior to watching it, that I was able to immerse myself into the story and become capitivated with the case footage that is eerily well put together. Whether all the footage and interviews are fake or not I will leave up to you to decide. What I will say is this....if have an open mind and know absolutley nothing about what you are about to see, Lake Mungo will freak the shit out of you or at the very least give you the heebie jeebies. It a very well done documentary type of filmwork that is above and beyond this years Paranormal Activity which was wayyyyy too overhyped and not quite all that enjoyable. If your looking for a film that will get under your skin, this is it! Highly recommened.
