Review of Kwaidan (1965) by Adriano B — 17 Jul 2011
Slow as only a Cannes winner may achieve to be, but beautiful nonetheless. More mood tha horror, but that's not to say iy isn't scary. Japanese ghost stories through stylization and art convey the universal truth, between sublime and nightmare, that is the matter of dreams - and cinema.
