Review of Jem and the Holograms (2015) by Vivian L — 18 Nov 2015

I actually really liked this movie and I am a huge fan of the cartoons. Yes it was modernized a bit and the story altered slightly but everything else was there. They had the earring and the holograms, the sisters, the boyfriend, the evil record label exec.

I really like the touching storyline, but also felt they left the other girls out a little too much. I also felt bad for Kimber because dad was all about Jerrica. I'm guessing she was toddler then so not much bonding time.

They did try to cram too much into one movie. They could have made it a 2 part. They def need a sequel though. I enjoyed the movie. I would see it again and I'll buy the DVD when it comes out!
