I love this movie, mostly for Bette Midler's performance and humor. It was a fun movie despite it's many flaws. The scene where Dixie is reunited with her husband and then two P-51 Mustang planes fly over was pretty cool.
.. but I might be saying that since my uncle flew his P-51 for that scene ;-).
