Completely predictable disaster movie, with type caste characters, and set pieces whose out come is never in doubt, but a fun way to fun a couple of hours if you like your action heroes sterio typed ( going through divorce from wife ,with precocious teenage daughter) .

Scientists making break throughs just slightly not in time to help anyone, and dodgy science like sunamis that travel the wrong way, and masses of population that appear and mysteriously disappear conveniently as the film progresses.

Having said all that if you throw logic to the wind, enjoy !
