Extremely dated film still is entertaining because of Alan Ladd and Bendix and their chemistry. Many stereotypes for the Chinese that are portrayed, but generally a film sympathetic to China. Interesting as a historical soap.
(in real life, the guy would have sold the gas to the Japanese).
