Review of Becket (1964) by Randy P — 15 Jul 2008
They don't make 'em like this anymore. A classic, dialogue-filled epic. The acting is just stunning, from Richard Burton's severely underplayed Becket to Peter O'Toole's exhausting, virile Henry II.
They play off each other brilliantly, and make for a higly dramatic, entertaining, but overlong film. (Side note, anybody else think O'Toole looks a little like Brad Pitt on that movie poster?).
