Recounting of the events leading up to and the battle of Isandlwana in 1879. Old-fashioned spectacle with massive battles involving thousands of extras. Not to be confused with Zulu from 1964, this one is squarely on the side of the zulus, with the British being mostly depicted as bumbling fools.
Terrifically exciting stuff - and with a great cast too: Burt Lancaster, Bob Hoskins, Peter O'Toole, Simon Ward and Denholm Elliott.
