You wanna watch a war epic? Dont look atHurt Locker, look to Zulu. This movie is based on the Anglo-Zulu war. And the epic Zulu victory which showed the bravery and the epic league of Zulu solider's as well as the British one's and we see each other's story as the movie goes on.
Something you dont get to see in every war movie although Platoon is a epic exception due to it being about the struggles of one soldier through terrible circumstances and brutish SGT. Great movie too as well as Zulu.
