Review of Zootopia (2016) by Curtis S — 23 Sep 2016
Well, I certainly wasn't expecting to watch The Nice Guys, rated PG version, but with a better plot. To no one's surprise Disney has put out a film not at all meant the smallest of small children.
.. but if you ever wanted an introductory way to start a conversation with your kids about racism, drugs, and their place in the real world - THIS IS IT! I will applaud Disney that it focusses more on it's story than it's jokes, allowing the humour to help educate people on being predjudice and realize they belong.
The funniest thing about this film is that Shakira is a Gazelle and the use of calling out racial stereotypes through the clever use of animals. I'm glad this made over a billion worldwide, it has a strong message and again.
.. reminds me so much of The Nice Guys... 2 A-Game buddy cop movies in a stale genre.
