A quirky, spirited and humorous zombie flick with a wonderful team of central characters whose perfect chemistry engages from the get-go.
The piece takes a breather from the blood and gore as our survivors take refuge in Bill Murray's mansion (a fun cameo by the talented comic) and, as one critic pointed out at the time, pays homage to 'Rebel Without a Cause' (1955), as the four heroes establish themselves as a family unit over a game of Monopoly.
There's plenty of fun to be had in this pleasently surprising addition to the comedy horror genre.
