Review of Zombieland (2009) by Lloyd H — 05 Apr 2013
I had such low expectations of this film, although I really enjoyed it. Can't stand Jesse Eisenberg, but he's tolerable for 80 mins when there's loads of gore and gags from Woody Harrelson to pass the time.
Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin are both great, both showing why they're cast in big films such as 'The Amazing Spiderman' and 'My Sisters Keeper' respectively. Woody Harrelson steals the show, absolutely brilliant.
This is the first time I've found him funny in anything since 'White Men Can't Jump'. Bill Murray's cameo is up there with Mike Tyson's cameo in 'The Hangover'. Complete stroke of genius.
Im not one to wish for sequels but I would happily welcome a 'Zombieland 2'. Would of been great in 3D, all the more reason to make a sequel. Good film that exceeded all expectations.
