Review of Zodiac (2007) by James D — 13 May 2012
This movie has been on my watchlist for years, and recently just got to watch it. WOW, I was really impressed with this film and will definitely be purchasing it. The storyline is incredible, based off of the true story of the Zodiac Killer.
This story is going to pull you in and never let go, the acting is phenomenal and you really get to see actors charisma forge together and pull off what I think is one of the greatest thrillers in recent history.
Be prepared for a lot of dialogue that definitely is one of the highlights of this film. The emotion and drive that Jake Gyllenhaal displays is remarkable and Robert Downey Jr. knocks it out of the park like always.
When you do get to see murder scenes, they will either make you cringe or say "wow" like I did. definitely worth a rent and or buy. It is one of those movies where when it's finished you want to watch it again to make sure you understood every detail and the story itself.
