Review of Zodiac (2007) by Kyle R — 14 Jan 2013
A grim and sophisticated detective story about one of the more mysterious and as-yet unsolved murder sprees in American history. Fincher is in his prime here keeping the facts true to life all while amping up the suspense as well as our own curiosity.
Acting is all-around near-perfect, with appearances by the always enjoyable Brian Cox, Elias Koteas, Anthony Edwards, and an effervescent trio of leads played by Gyllenhaal, Downey Jr, and Mark Ruffalo.
One of my new favorites.
