An expert craftsman at the top of his trade. A description fitting of the Zodiac killer himself. But it also is descriptive of David Fincher's direction of this immensely tense, taut, painstakingly detailed slice of true crime.
An excellently understated companion piece to Fincher's own over the top, stylized tribute to serial killing and sleuthing, Se7en.
