Review of ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction (2010) by Martin S — 11 Jan 2010
By far the best zombie movie I?ve ever seen; well cast, wickedly smart and funny on a wide variety of levels. This political comedy quite faithfully adheres to the basic and most revered tenets of the zombie sub genre.
In comparison with its big budget competitors: I would say the movie that "Shaun of the Dead" wanted to be or "Zombieland" for smart people. Don't misunderstand me, I loved both blockbusters; this movie just does it better.
Director Kevin Hamedani and producer John Sinno made a great movie with next to no money, I can?t wait to see what happens with more substantial funding.
