Review of Zardoz (1974) by Colin P — 20 Jun 2007
This flick is UNBELIEVABLE good for a 70s B-movie affair. The ludicrous costumes and deliberately unemotional characters make a bizarre watch but still add up to a movie with great cult appeal. Zardoz has an interesting take on the perils of immortality (and the fascination of sexuality to a desexualized culture) and a bizarre storyline making for a cult classic, though not quite polished enough to really impress most watchers.
