Review of Zardoz (1974) by Brother G — 15 Jan 2008
It gets a four mostly for weirdness points. Connery was trying desperately to break the Bond type-cast I think. Otherwise, an interesting musing on the two extremes of the human brain, brutality and sophistication.
Image wise, the hero wears a bright red cod-peice thing a la the pop group Cameo and wanders into a world inhabited by Life magazine advertisement models.
