Review of Zardoz (1974) by Angèle ? G — 13 Feb 2009
Mix a post-apocalyptic dystopian world, red briefs with leather thighboots, philosophical reflexion about civilizations' future, sexual liberation's heritage, a giant stone head, psychedelic images about knowledge and procreation, a lot of "ROFL!" and "WTF?!", and a hairy Sean Connery, and here's how you get Zardoz.
Not a great movie, perhaps not even a good movie, but definitely puzzling and entertaining.
