John Boorman's film seem to always balance between the exciting and the pretentious. Zardoz is no exception. Moments of brilliance, real excitement and in site...while other times you scratch your head, and tilt it like a confused dog. As a movie buff...recommended...to the mainstream...well...you best stay away. Still....there is something here that brings me back to it about every 7 years...
