Review of You've Got Mail (1998) by Zheng J — 16 Jan 2011
The film tries to discuss on a series of huge issue - the conflicts between traditional private bookstores and chain super bookshops; how technology affects the way people are connected with each other; what love comes out to be in the modern society.
In the end, shopgirl and NY152, two representatives of tradition and modern, fell in love together. Does the ending indicate the merge of tradition and modern? And it's really amazing when Meg walked in the music of Dreams, which reminds me of Faye Wong in the Chong Qing Seng Lin.
There are two girl enjoying their dreams~~~.
