This movie is so sweet and innocent. It's the best of Meg Ryan really! She's perky and funny and lovely and sweet. Tom Hanks is also just a great, ordinary guy. And of course, I LOVED all the 90s nostalgia - dial-up modems, AOL, online chat rooms, e-mail.
.. I can't believe this was only 15 years ago - its seems like a century ago in technology terms. But the love story is eternal! Meg Ryan's character loved "Pride and Prejudice" and we still love watching that same story in this film: girl hates boy, boy loves girl, girl rejects boy, boy convinces girl he's nice, girl loves boy back.
