'You're Next' (2011) is a fun, gory slasher movie, created by Adam Wigand and Simon Barrett who share their true adulation for horror with director Ti West (as Tariq), director Joe Swanberg (as Drake), Barbra Crampton (as Aubrey), AJ Bowen (as Crispian), etc.
So is the acting any good? Not really, but watching Sharni Vinson (as Erin) pull a 'Kevin McCallister' during a home invasion is surely entertaining. This movie is absolutely no game changer, but if you have not seen a good-old grindhouse movie in a while, this is a refreshing amusement worth checking out.
