Review of Your Sister's Sister (2011) by Karen A — 18 Jul 2012
For once, here is what a romantic comedy should be: intelligent, touching and funny. The story is very well written with strong intelligent dialogues that appeal to our emotional side, and a good dose of humour, sometimes in the most dramatic of moments.
The film deals with real issues and the imperfections of human behaviour trying to cope the best can with what life throws at them. Director Lynn Shelton has great empathy for her characters and it helps feel compassion for them.
Performances are superb by the three actors. The story stays long after the film ends. Highly recommended!
