Review of Your Sister's Sister (2011) by Richard B — 09 Nov 2012
So this film was really up my alley as I love indie comedies, especially when they add drama and a little romance. I really liked the trailer for the this film and I really like Mark Duplass and Rosemarie Dewitt and even though I wouldn't have guessed it a year ago, but now I'm really starting to like Emily Blunt quite a bit too.
This film basically just stars the three of them for 90 minutes and is a real treat. It is very dramatic, but also sweet, funny, and touching all at different moments. The film starts off kind of predictable, but then it takes some twists that I never saw coming at all.
The film is very dialogue driven and most of the film is 2 or 3 characters talking, which was fine with me. Overall I really enjoyed this indie film.
