Review of Your Sister's Sister (2011) by Marat P — 13 Dec 2012
Another entry into the sweet, human indie drama, does little to make itself any different from the pack, but succeeds in being a worthwhile film and showcase for Emily Blunt to demonstrate her movie star power.
She lights up the screen with genuine presence and feels like a real human being, she looks effortless. And Duplass keeps proving that he is the most unlikely of indie darlings playing to his strengths as an actor.
A little short, and without much going on outside of the main drag, and gleans over some issues a little quickly, as well as providing a big talk that resolves everything a little too neatly. I love this genre of film, so I'm a sucker and forgive the shortcomings.
