Pretty damn good anime story here. Your Name is an anime about two people that somehow go into each others bodies. We have Mitsuha (Stephanie Sheh) a young girl from the county side of Japan longing to move to the city one day.

On the other end we have Taki (Michael Sinterniklaas) a young guy living in Tokyo and not sure about his future. 2-3 times a week out of nowhere the two of them switch bodies! At first they are freaked out and everyone who knows them thinks their possessed, but soon enough they understand what's going on and start to leave each other messages.

They start falling for each other, but disaster looms in the horizon and it's up for the two of them to work together to figure out what's going on. There's a bit of a twist to the movie that I don't want to ruin, so I'll leave it at that.

Overall, beautiful animation and a really touching story. It's definitely a lot different from where I thought it was going to be, but I really enjoyed this one. It's an anime, but I didn't find that it went too over the top on things.

I would say the one gripe I had was I sort of kinda wish they explained the body swapping just a little bit more and the overall time they start in them, but that's a small gripe. Solid anime film and this movie was extremely popular in Japan last year and I can tell why.

If you're an anime fan or a fan of a good romance story definitely check this one out!
