Decent story, but bland uninteresting character. The animation is gorgeous, but that doesn't make up for mitsuha and taki being relatively uninteresting. Taki is worse than mitsuha, but they both suffer from boring writing.
There are also some character inconsistency where taki's personality completely changes when in mitsuha's body. He's more of a dud bro when in her body than he is when he's actually himself. Other than that the movie's good.
The scene on the mountain is very good which makes me wish they interacted more. Also needless to say the music and animation is phenomenal.
